I know, I know... I promised that I'd do this post yesterday, but I've gotten into a routine now! 1 post every Tuesday and Sunday! At least it means I'll be posting much more frequently! Blush, blush... Any way, my surprise is... THE ARC NOTEBOOK SYSTEM! Woo!
Oh, and just before I begin, sorry for the rubbish camera quality -_- Hope you enjoy the post!
I bought the notebook on Sunday on a day out when we 'happened' to go into Staples. Tee hee. I had been looking around for a while when I noticed this range of notebooks. I ended up getting a £20 Green Leather one, A4 of course! This came with 50 pages of ARC ruled paper and the standard 11 discs that hold the notebook together. The notebook itself is a really nice shade of green, and is very sturdy. Although you can move pages around (I'll come onto this soon), the pages don't come out without you actually pulling them out.
This is the outside of the book, yes I know the picture would be better the other way round, just try not to notice it if you would be so kind. :-D |
The refills that you can buy are mostly all priced at £2 for 50 pages. The pages are 100gsm so they are really smooth and there is barely any show through. There is a nice selection of refills, I currently have lined paper, squared paper, a to-do refill and some mini notelet type things. I'll show you when I have a bit more time on my hands. You can also get sticky notes, a ruler, things like that. I'll show you a picture of one of the refills so you can see the edges. They look like mini mushrooms!
I use the Arc for a variety of different things. I use it for organisation, revision, planning projects, planning this blog, my homework and timetabling. It's so USEFUL!!!
Here are a few pictures of the inside so you can see what I mean.
Blogger is being funny again and isn't letting me put a caption on that picture, but that is actually the blog plan for my nex post! OOH! That is the grey memo notelet I was talking about earlier!
This is a quick overview of revision for the next three days, I have a more in - depth one too, as per shown:
Actually, this is one I have already used and taken out, that is why it is folded. It kind of gives you an idea though.
You can also buy a hole punch specifically designed for the ARC so that you can put whatever paper you want in. I will be investing in one of these as soon as I can, so I will let you know what it is like.
Overall, I would give the ARC 5*. I was really happy with my purchase and will certainly be buying that hole punch! And more refills!
Thanks for reading,
Ami x
